Daughter is irritated what do I do?!

Question: My daughter is irritated in the vaginal area. She eats yogurt every day and I used vagisil on her but it's not working. She is still itchy and irritated. Does anyone have any experience in this?

probably you should look at the soap and laundry soap you are using..get some hypo allergenic body soap..something like pure and natural..get sun or something like that..for the clothes..i had to do this when my daughter kept getting hives from laundry soap and bubble baths...i would not put any powder or anything else on her at this moment..i would get an over the counter yeast infection med..and put it on the outside with a kleenex or something similar..again had to do this with my daughter on the doctors orders...you could even get her aveeno oatmeal body soak..and let her sit in it...let her air dry as much as possible and try the yeast infection med

I would have her take a bath, and have her clean herself (down there) really well. When she gets out, make sure she dries off really good, then put some baby powder down there, and have her put on a clean pair of undies. I believe there is also vagisil anti-itch powder you can use.

Take her to a doctor. She might need medication or a stronger cream than vagisil.

you should take her to the doctors and also think if she has changed style of underwear, soap, laundry detergent, lotion etc, etc, etc. When were young we always want to wear things that smell good or look good but sometimes we can be allergic to it so take a look into it.

hi...i had the same problem and i have done all the tests at a sexual health clinic. The tests were all ok but starting last week i washed myself with camomile tea and it was amazing...my itches are gone and i feel much better...u can try but u need to do it for couple of days for results...good luck

see a homepath. go to a health food place and ask, you may find a natural product, without resorting to those chemical filled creams.

also: Tea Tree Oil Vaginal Ointment
6 drops of tea tree oil
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
Add drops of tea tree oil to aloe and mix together. Apply gel directly on the vaginal area to relieve itching. Note: Vitamin E or Cocoa butter can be used as a substitute for the aloe gel.
