If I go to the emergency room will I have to wait?!

Question: I do not mean in an ambulance, If I just go there myself?

Answers: I do not mean in an ambulance, If I just go there myself?

well as a doctor myself we normally take the patients with more severe traumas or pains but if you do take an ambulance than no you'll be brought right in.

unless it is trauma, yes, you will proably have to wait

yes

it depends on your case, u will probably have to wait if the priority of other case is higher!!

It depends on the attending physician (some are extremely slow!!), how many patients are ahead of you, and how serious the condition you want to be treated for. Even if you went by ambulance, if your condition isn't as serious as someone's who's already there, you will have to wait a while eg. the girl in the bed next to you had her finger cut off, and you have pneumonia, she's more than likely going to be treated ahead of you, even though you were there first. Some hospitals have a guarantee that you will be seen within 30 mins.

of course everywhere you go you have to wait unless you call the ambulance that's the quit way. or call a doctor or walk in in a family center but be ready for wait even with appointments
