How to cope with symptoms of thorasic outlet syndrome?!

Question: I have had my first rib removed. I have used a tens machine, had physio, acupuncture, botox, heat treatments and massage. Nothing seems to help. If anyone has any tips to help relieve my symptoms i will be eternally grateful. I have arm aching and heaviness, a spastic thumb (lots of cramp) and a tightness on the side of my neck. I also suffer pins and needles from time to time.

well aplying pressure usualy works well for relieving pain and if you stick with the physio it should get better over time, also hot water(bath) workes great for pains like these

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but have you tried simple painkillers like paracetamol, ibuprofen or co-codamol?

If pain is severe, your GP can prescribe things like codeine or tramadol, which are opiate based painkillers.
