A question about eczema and lichen simplex?!

Question: Are blisters associated with these conditions? I was sent to a dermatologist for an area on my foot that wasn't healing, and he gave me that diagnosis. The thing is, I keep getting a lot of yellowish blisters during my down time from the cream he prescribed. They keep growing and itching until they crust over or burst (leaving open wounds). It is very uncomfortable. I can't find anything about blisters with these disorders. He won't see me until my next appointment (in another month).

I've had eczema for all my adult life. I get the blisters, too sometimes. When they burst, wash out well, apply your prescription cream (sparingly), and cover with a band-aid. Usually, for me, the blisters are followed by the skin healing. If this isn't of any help to you, maybe you can call & leave a message for the dermatologist. As these are on your foot, be extra cautious if you are using a cortizone topical cream as it can thin out your skin with extended use.
