Does this sound dangerous to you?!

Question: PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU HAVE PAST KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE ON THE MATTER!!

It's small (Almost flat, and 1cm x 1cm large) and painless. It is behind my ear and has been there for a long time (I'd say almost a year now...?) I asked my doctor about it and he felt it and doesn't think it's anything to worry about, although I don't think I mentioned how long it's been there for... If this was a sign of a tumor or cancer, would I have been getting noticable symptoms by now and would there be more/larger lymph nodes?

In lymph gland cancer grown lymph nodes are not flat, they are round.
In lymphoma cases there are more lymph nodes grown at the same time, not only one.
By one year there would be grown to a much larger size very likely.
This what you have might me a simple fat tissue or a cyst I would say. Don
