What is a normal number for after eating???Non diabetic..and how long is it 2 ho!

Question: Julie T is wrong. Under 100 is what you want your fasting blood sugar levels to be at. 100-126 is pre-diabetes.

I'm not sure I remember what the 2 hour number (yes, it's 2 hours) is supposed to be ... under 180, i think? But it is more accurate to take a fasting number, which is at least 8 hours after any foods with carbs.

I can't really understand your grammar... BUT if you are asking what a normal blood glucose level is after eating for a non-diabetic, I believe doctors do not want to see levels over 100.

DIABETIC persons should aim for (ideally) between 100-140 two hours after eating. Not quite sure about a non-diabetic. A person in excellent diabetic control should have 75-85.

After two hours, you should have 140 or lower according to the American Association of Endocrinologists (AAE). The American Diabetes Association (ADA) says 170. But, it's commonly believed that any rise above 140 damages your organs.

Here is a link showing a table as to how a normal person's body reacts to carbohydrates:
