Prices can vary greatly. However, it may be possible to get it covered by your insurance if it is causes chronic back pain

Most insurance policies will cover it as long as certain criteria are met. Basically the woman needs to be large, have unremitting back pain which has not responded to a multi-month regimen of weight loss and exercise, and be mentally and physically stable.

If you desire the surgery for purely cosmetic reasons, don't.

Even if you avoid surgical complications, there are other after surgery things that women don't like. These can include permanent breast pain, permanent loss of tactile sensation in the breasts and nipples, and thick ropy scars under the breast and around the nipples, uneven sizing. Lopsided? Scars? Doesn't sound attractive, does it?

Like I said, do it for pain relief, but not for looks, okay?

You should find a surgeon.

Why have you posted this in the cancer section I wonder.

Although I know how self-conscious large breasts can make you feel (I had them once), as someone who's had breast cancer and a mastectomy I say be grateful you've got two healthy ones.

Sorry I know that doesn't help but it's how I feel.

And there's probably a YA section where you'd get the sort of answer you're looking for.

It can be free if your insurance covers it!

It was $8,000 and insurance covered it all!
