Small itchy blisters spreading on my finger???!

Question: About two weeks ago, I noticed a little blister on the knuckle of my pointer finger. I didn't think anything of it and it itched so I popped it. Since then it has spread horribly. I have at least one new blister everyday and my finger looks sooo gross: ( It has spread from the top of my knuckle to the otherside of my finger. The blisters have a white liquid in them and start deep under the skin. They're small. I thought that if I popped them and put rubbing alcohol on them it would dry them out but it doesn't seem to be helping. They don't itch after their popped but it's hard not to scratch them otherwise. I've been putting rubbing alcohol on the area, which feels raw, and covering it with bandaids (it takes two to cover the area).

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? What can help it or make it go away? Please let me know and list your sources if possible. Thanks everyone!

I suggest trying to dry them out. It sounds like an allergic reacton. Try not to scratch them anymore and you probably need to go to a clinic for a perscription. Good luck:)

sounds like a touch of poison ivy or oak or sumac....allergic to something rubbed against?........get some "Ivy Dry"..type stuff to dry it up..the oil from these might have been on something you came into contact with......

I get them. More in the summer than the winter. I use hydrogen peroxide on them. I seems to burn them off a little faster than alcohol. If have you some kind of steroid creme laying around it makes them heal faster.
I know mine are caused by whatever chemicals there are in leather gloves.
This may not work you, but after years of getting them I stopped using leather gloves and they haven't been so bad since.
I know this isn't the best answer.
I guess I am saying that maybe it is something you are allergic to. Soap, Detergent?
Go to www.webmd.com and describe the symptoms. You may get an idea what the name of it is. Good luck

It does sound like an allergic reaction. I know this is obvious, but did you burn your self? Could be egzima (probably spelled wrong). Irritated dry skin condition. Go to the drug store and look for something that addresses your symptoms. I wouldn't do the alcohol thing though - sounds painful too.
