Will a pharmacy fill a month old prescription?!
Question: My psych prescribed me some ant-depressants last month, but I didn't think I needed them. I know now that I need them. Will a pharmacy fill a prescription thats more than a week old?

yes here are the rules:
C2 drugs (ie Adderall, Methadone, Ritalin) --good for 7 days ONLY
C3-5 drugs (ie Vicodin, Tylenol #3, Darvocet N-100) --good for 6 months
all others--good for one year
Yes.

Yes they should. I've done this before.
as long as prescription hasn't expired no problem
yes most prescriptions are good for a year.
Yes
Most likely. If they don't than just give your psychiatrist a call and have him call in the perscription for you.
dont see why not, yes they will.
If its from this year they will.
Yes. You have 6 months on a written prescription and a year on a refill
My pharmacy will fill any that are less than six months old. This may vary depending on state laws or company policy. Best thing to do is call and ask.
yeah as long as it's not expired.
yup. if you have any problems the pharmacist will call your dr and clear it up.
