first everyone has lymph nodes, they are there to fight and filter infections. no one person has the same amount of lymph nodes. if one is swollen it is usually fighting some type of infection in your body.

What do you mean can you go to the doctor if you have one? What exactly do you have? If you have a lump in your armpit you should go to the doctor. They will check it and your other lymph nodes to check for swelling. They might do an xray in office.
