Is dieing of an aneurism painful?!

Question: On Saturday a cousin of mine died from an aneurism. I was wanting to know, for peace of mind, if this kind of death is painful or not? Sudden or not? and finally noticable to the person who is about to surcomb?
Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about your cousin. You didn't mention what type of aneurysm but I assume it was a brain aneurysm because that is what most people associate with the term. Based on my experience with people having an aneurysm or stroke, and people that I've talked to that have survived, it probably wasn't very painful. The most pain he is most likely to have felt is a headache, but he would have lost consciousness before he died, therefore wouldn't be feeling his brain tissue dying. Again, I'm sorry this happened, strokes and aneurysms are so unexpected. My thoughts are with you and your family at this hard time.

I am sorry to hear about your cousin. Maybe that is one that you could question the doctor for . It's not likely that you can ask someone that has gone through it and didn't survive.

I think it is more like suffering a stroke. I guess it depends on if they passed right away or not.
