It is cosmetic removal only. It just cuts off the lump and it heals as a smaller spot/ it may cause enough of the wart in that particular spot to be removed that it heals temporarily. Since warts are a virus, they will come back. Some research indicates that freezing of genital warts may only aggrivate the virus and cause a more severe outbreak when it comes back.

If you get them removed, there is a chance they will come back since the virus is still in your system. But thats not always the case if your lucky enough.
