I agree with "fresh.." ..blood thinners can cause bleeding just under the skin anywhere on the body. Is he taking aspirin? That also is a blood thinner. I've never seen the eyes bleed, but I would imagine it could happen. Is he diabetic..? I've had several corrective lasers done to my eyes due to small blood vessels leaking because I'm diabetic. I would say try another doctor since his has no idea..!

is he on blood thinners?
That would be the first thing I wonder....
especially if he bruises easily.
Otherwise, he needs a CBC (blood test) done

Ugh, you really should changes doctors! Because if a doctor cant figure something out after going to school to get a Doctorate in...then thats something wrong. Change doctors before ur dad goes through something life threatening and the doctors just like "Well I dunno, I dunno".....it amazes me how some people can answer your question thoroughly(from YA) better than a doctor can...... hmm...

He needs to see a eye specialist instead of an eye doctor. Eye doctor's can only do so much. But I am guessing an eye specialist would run tests and be able to help him.

Does he wear glasses? It could be allergic reaction, to the glasses, but i really don't think so,,,, if he wears glasses, and he is on blood thinners, then it could be from the pressure of his glasses causing the bruising, He needs pt and ptt levels done.. It sounds like also that he has got some kind of irritation of the surrounding tissues around the eye, he needs to see a eye specialist,,,,asap. Hope this helps you
