Maybe you use a bath soap that has a high oil content. That means your skin is moisturised in a bath but you wash away the oils in a shower, so your skin is drier afterwards and you itch more.
well your in a bath for a longer time and the room probably gets very hot but when your in a shower you step out into the cold so you probably have dry skin and the heat from the shower into the cold irritates it and is making it itchy.
the high pressure from the showers irritate your skin.
