Question: so a few weeks ago i had a sex encounter, and well, now i think i have a problem and need to get ti checked, however, my family is overly religious and i cant tell them, where can i get a doctor to look at it without my parents there? im under 18

Places like Planned Parenthood will do STD testing for really cheap or even free. I would start by calling them. They will do everything in their power to keep your information confidential.
There are also health clinics in most major cities who do free testing for minors. Go too Google and search for "free STD testing (your city)".
What do you think you have?
You should be able to go to your local health dept. and get checked out.
They can't release any information about you to anyone without your written consent Thanks to HIPPA
She's right, your local health dept. is where to go when funds are limited/or none and u need Anonymity... Hope all is well
