Question: I was doing some work out in the field that involved a lot of physical exertion. It was a cold day out and one of the guys started having health problems. He then started getting the chills so I lent him my sweater(He was kind of sweaty too.). After he left to go to the doctor, I put my sweater back on. I have always wondered, can STDs be transferred through sweat?

No, they cannot be transmitted through sweat. They are called STD's for a reason. They are SEXUALLY transmitted. Unless he has crabs, then I wouldn't worry about it. It's like the myth that you can get AIDS from touching an infected person. Relax, you are fine.
