About Asthma...I may be seeing some improvement...can you tell me why?!

Question: For two days it's been raining here... would that help asthma?

The heater is not needed right now... would that help asthma?

I quit my inhalers and only use them for rescue... would that help asthma?

I'm taking cough syrup... would that help asthma?

~~~
I still cough some, but nothing like all the coughing of the last three months. I'm actually able to sleep peacefully and not straining my muscles.
What do you think is helping?... because I want to keep up anything that is helpful.
As it has been raining recently, the amount of pollen and dust in the air has been lowered. This would have easily made asthma better.
Not sure whether quitting the inhalers affects the amount of asthma you have, but it's defiantly good for your body.
Can't be sure about the cough syrup. it might help, it might not. it could depend on the brand of syrup.
asthma is a very specific condition... which varies from person to person the best way to figure out what your triggers are is to keep a book and record how you feel from day to day recording info on everything including diet, weather etc
this will help you identify what makes your asthma worse and help control it
cough syrup no
heater yes
only using them for rescue.. yes otherwise your body gets too used to it.
As far as the rain yes it helps. Because the reason you have asthma is also because of the pollen in the air and it is a form of allergies.
The rain clears it up from rising towards the sun
