What can I do about my acne scars, or rather discolorations left after acne?!

Question: I recently had a bad acne spell, its not totally gone yet, theres still some spots, but theres a lot of red marks now. How, can I hide these or get rid of them somewhat? I'm a guy. I've been using this:

but it looks fake, and makes me look really pale? Is there anything I can do? And i've tried a sunless tanner to reduce the appearance, but its not helping much.

Get 100% vitamin E oil and just put it on the spots. A little goes a long way. Try Neosporin or that stuff they have out to fade scares.
