There are no cures for lupus--only symptomatic relief and periods of remission. I think you need to go on-line and start doing research. There are also many causes, and many manifestations, and the manifestations can change from organ system to organ system....You've picked a hard project for causes and cures....!
lupus (SLE) systemic lupus erythema) is an autoimmune diease. the body is attacking itself. we generally see patients present to the hospital in pain and have extreme, EXTREME fatigue. they also have the classic "butterfly" rash across their face, bright red. the cause is that it is autoimmune...just happens. i think there is a problem with the thymus gland, but i can't really say for 100% certainty that that is correct. cures--i think we give igG.
