Try not to worry yet. As long as she's acting okay and drinking fluids just keep giving her Tylenol or Motrin. I know alot of people think that 102 is a high fever but it's really not when or if it reaches 104 or 105 that's high. Not really important that she eats but if you try to feed her try bland things, crackers, rice, mashed potatoes, plain oatmeal, etc. If she gets worse higher fever, will not drink, or drinks and then vomits, severe diarrhea, complains (tells you something hurts), pulling at ears time to call doc but if it is really worrying you call now.

Uh...that's pretty high.

What did the DCOTOR say?

Hospital...... if she isn't eating she may be dehydrated, as a mother of 2 I would most def be on my way to the hospital. Good luck, Hope she feels better soon!

Not exceptionally high for a child that age, but she needs medical attention regardless.

I would definitely take her to the hospital. It is not normal for a kid of any age to have a temperture that high. I had one of 106 and was in the hospital for about two weeks so i think she needs to go to the hospital and get checked out.

Don't panic yes she probably is fighting an infection I she is drinking that is great Keep the fluids up. Let her body have a day to fight the infection. Keep her comfortable Ie Tylenol etc. If the fever last more than a day take her to the doctors

Flu ?

however children do run a bit HOT -- get some tylenol or somethig that helps break fevers in toddlers

if it hits 103 get to the hospital
keep an eye on it for the next couple hours
keep hydrated and food ,, food helps with a fever. (ice cream works )

it is Friday you need to get her in to her doc today
or go to urgent care
or your weened will be spent in a ER
i am not going to guess , i am not a doc am a nurse
there is so many things
but still would call the doc
