26 days with low grade fever any suggestions?!

Question: the doctor has thrown in the towel. and refered me to a different doctor. All of my blood work is normal, except that I tested possitive for lyme disease. But my doc says once the blood was sent to be confirmed I only tested positive in 2 of the 3 sections of the test. She said that since I dont have the rash and I dont recall being bitten by a tick then I dont have it. A CT scan revealed a lesion on my liver that she called suspicious but nothing that would have anything to do with the fever. And several Nodules on my thyroid, again she says nothing to bother with. I have had a blood culture and it was negative. Believe me when I say that I have had probably every test in the world done. ANY help, or anyone that knows a good doctor to see in new jersey would be great.

If you tested positive for Lyme disease, then you can be treated with antibiotics, which will get rid of your low grade fever, because the antibiotics have overcome the bacteria.
I can't believe that this hasn't already been done, but some doctors are hesitant to use antibiotics aren't they?
