Shivering is a sign of the fever reaching its peak, you have a fever. Drink plenty of water, take off excessive clothing and blankets, take paracetomol (uk) x 2, put a fan on, use tepid water to cool your body.....you will soon feel better =_)

Trust yourself, you have a fever.

Well there is no actually way to check to see if you have a fever without a thermometer. But you sound like you might be ill, I would go a lay down, and get some rest!

using the back of your fingers feel your forehead. don't use the palm side as that is warmer at all times. if its real warm you have a fever
best thing to do is get some rest. you can bring your fever down if you have one by taking a cool bath. drink alot of water and juices. chicken soup too or just broth.

if you feel really cold and shivery, but when you feel your forehead and it's really warm then you have a fever!!

check your fore head if ur for head is kinda hot ur sick

it shouldnt make much of a difference if you know u have a fever or not..(unless your going to make medicines. if you have chills or are sweating bad than you have a fever... hope you get better... im sick too

You probably do have a fever but it doesnt matter. Just get some liquids to drink-soup and ginger ale and then get into bed with enough blankets. If your fever is rising, you may start shivering. Fever is actualy good since it is your body's way of raising its temperature to the level where the germs die. Im so sorry your father has to work such long hours to pay for your food and housing and everything. You need someone near you especially when you are sick. I do hope your mother returns soon. Best wishes

Wrap yourself up in some blankets, get a nice hot bowl of soup and rest. If you start to get a little warm stay in the blanket because sometimes you can sweat it out of you. But if you feel feverish in an extreme hot way take a warm to cold bath for a few minutes this will cool your body temp down. If you are feeling really bad before you go to bed just leave your dad a note on the counter and ask him to put it out for you for when you wake up! Hope you feel better... I am sick too! :(
