Coffee overdose with anxiety attack?!

Question: I was driving home today after finding out I'm going to be promoted to a regional manager. I drank threeDdoubleshots from Starbucks. My heart started to race and my eyes started to blur, I was so dizzy I felt I couldn't drive, so I had to pull over for ten minutes. What does this sound like?? I still feel very strange, what can I do to start feeling better? I'm 130 lbs 5'4, and I did eat lunch today. No diabetes.

thanks

It sounds like a coffee induced interocular pressure. Coffee constricts your blood vessels and causes less blood to get where it needs to go. Therefore your brain and eyes, were being deprived of oxygen and nutrients for a short period of time. If I were you, I would lay off so much coffee. I cup of coffee lasts for one hour. 1 shot of double shots is like having two cups of coffee. So you just had 6 cups of coffee in 5 minutes. Your vessels and heart were a little overloaded.

sounds like anxiety i guess im not a doctor though you might want to go see one

sounds like a panic attack. caffeine can bring them on, especially that much caffeine. you might still feel bad because you are obviously all worried about it. cut down on the caffeine and i bet you'll be just fine.

It does sound like an anxiety attack, but I think that just as likely, you shot your blood pressure way up. Iam mediterranean and drink only espresso and a double. But I limited it to that, or max another shot same day. What you had at once would definitely raise your blood pressure. The symptoms are just as consistent as they would be for an anxiety attack, in fact, they are more consistent with your having very suddenly shot your bood pressure up. Why would you be more likely to have an anxiety attack. Just rest, lie down, no activity. It will pass. And don't OD on caffeine again!

sounds like ur body had too much coffee and then u gave ur self a panic attack
