This is OK. If you are coughing hard then you will cough up blood because you are irritating your throat. You probably have bronchitis. I get bronchitis all the time because of coughing so hard I have broken my ribs. Try to keep hard candy or cough drops on hand it will sooth the coughing some. When you cough try holding a bed pillow to your stomach. Hope you feel better that hard coughing stinks and gets on your nerves. Also try to stay away from cigarette smoke it makes the coughing worse.

haha i don't know what world your in when you think coughing up blood is okay! No its not, could mean life or death. you need to go to your doctor or E.R. and get that looked out.
