What does this chest xray result mean?!

Question: "Right lower base infiltrate left lower lobe medial infiltrate"

Answers: "Right lower base infiltrate left lower lobe medial infiltrate"

That probably means there is some fluid in an area that there isn't meant to be fluid. It appears to me that is being specific as to where the fluid might be.

I didn't realize you were looking for a diagnoses. There isn't enough info for that type of information if you ask me. It was probably pneumonia, could have been a result from lung cancer etc. So many things could be in play with this. Sorry you didn't get the answers you wanted. Report It

Fluid in your lungs, just refers to where. Why don't you ask your doctor?
