Honesty is the best policy. Genital warts can cause other problems later in life. They are an STD and you need to tell him. If you are uncomfortable and/or scared, and you don't want to tell him alone, I would recommend you ask your doctor if he/she will help you explain it to him. It may also bring your relationship closer by letting him know that you are willing to risk whatever emotions he feels so that you can assure he's safe, treated, and you want to keep the relationship & trust that is involved. The doctor may be best suited to handle delivering that news as they can explain things in a clinical way, without getting emotionally involved or pointing any fingers. Sounds like a very compassionate person needs to offer their assistance as I'm sure it's very hard for you to have to face alone, let alone to have to tell your boyfriend and fear the consequences.

Best of luck, and I hope all goes well in whatever choice you make.

All you can do is tell him the truth and hope for the best.

also 80% of sexually active people will carry HPV at some point in their life... the virus leaves after about 3 months. its not that big a deal but you should let him know.

tell him the true or date the one with hpv at stdromance.com
