If you have had a cold, is it still possible to get the flu?!

Question: Yes since there are 100's of various strains. When you get the flu shot you are really only protected from 40% of the flu strains out there - so you are still suspectible to 60%. BTW: The cold & flu are different.

Usually a "cold" is technically influenza, or the flu.

of course it is is you dont take care of ur self good enough

i had a cold and then like 2 weeks later i got the flu, but they have this pill out that u can take to prevent urself from gettin the flu...but its expensive. =)

No a cold is not technically the flu or influenza. And yes you can get it cause you immune system is compromised

I have the flu right now, but I have some cold symptoms too.
