Hi, depending on the dosage.. the doctor would give you all specifics.. If the dosage is high enough you should not even share the same bathroom with that person, no bedding , towels, toilet seat, sinks etc..
If you are unsure check with the prescribing doctor.. I had only a minor dose at one point and I had to stay away from my children for a month.. It is very dangerous even to the person taking it.. it is radiation..
I will pray for you and your family during this difficult time..
God Bless you all with courage and strength.

I would say avoid as much contact as possible. There shouldn't be enough contamination to cause you any cellular damage, but don't use his/her toothbrush or anything.

I believe that is in reference to not having intimate relations and such! My uncle had radiation for postrate cancer, the directions for him was as above, and not to allow anyone (children etc) to sit on his lap for a specified period time.

no, no honey. you want to make sure they get no germs from you. they are very susceptible to germs and colds right now, and that could be devastating. just make sure you wash your hands often, and make sure you don't breathe on them... they should actually be wearing a dust mask, to protect them, from you... hang in there, just be sympathetic, they just need you folks to be very clean around them.

She has no immune system right now and you should not be touching her or anything she may have to handle. How about everyone wearing disposable gloves as much as possible? Also, don't let very young (kids who go to day-care or school setting) have much contact or anyone that seems ill in any way.

It's best to avoid contact of any sort - the concern is possible infection or disease because of a reduced immunity. It may sound a little wierd but get some items like hand sanitizer and dispossible rubber gloves to have handy.

have not heard anythnig
