Playing sports when i have mono?!
Question: I found out i have mono today, and my doctor said i cant do any sports... she said its something with the rib? but i didnt really uderstand what she was telling me...
does anyone know why you cant do any sports when you have mono??

SPLEEN. The spleen enlarges and can burst if you are hit in the abdomen! It's RARE but a very serious condition.
and it is very contagious, esp if you swap spit with somebody or share water bottles.

definitely not! one of your organs ( i forget which) gets really enlarged and can easily burst if you are too rough.
stay away from any physical activities because it's a very serious situation if you do burst it!
Mono seriously depletes your immune system and it's contagious. At the very least you should not risk giving it someone else.
