Answers: i keep getting yeast infections around the same time every month and i dont know how to get it to go away

could be alot of things, Maybe your period, the use of tampons or pads not getting changed often enough. Could be blood sugar.Diabetics can get them often. Anyone with a low immune system are likely to get them. Perhaps you have had some kind of illness that has lowered your immunities?
Do you like yogurt? I started eating that during my period & a few times throughout the month.I used to get them around my period.Minor ones..
Make sure the yogurt says on the back it contains active & live cultures, if not, no point in it..

also, go see a doc, maybe they can do some bloodwork & see if there is an underlying problem..also to test for stds....COULD be a cause..NOT LIKELY DONT HAVE A COW..just be sure...some things lay dorment & doesnt produce hardly any symptoms..just a precaution..
okay?

also , wear panties with white cotton liner. The cotton helps keep moisture away from your who-ha. gotta be white,tho..Dont use colored toilet paper.can cause irritaion..

*smile I love you *

yeat infection r caused by fungus...u need to hv treatment with antifungal agents such as imidazole...

It's yeast and moisture.

You can get a yeast infection on any part of your body, pretty much.

If you're getting vaginal yeast infections, try eating yogurt with live active cultures.

If you cannot afford the medicine to treat it every month, you can take plain all natural yogurt (With live active cultures) and put it on a tampon and insert it for five minutes. Don't rinse it out.

Other than that, try to keep your skin cool and dry at all times.

Change your underpants twice a day if you must, change tampons very often, and take off wet bathing suits asap.

Most yeast infections are caused by a type of yeast called Candida albicans.

A healthy vagina has many bacteria and a small number of yeast cells. The most common bacteria, Lactobacillus acidophilus, help keep other organisms-like the yeast-under control.

When something happens to change the balance of these organisms, yeast can grow too much and cause symptoms. Taking antibiotics sometimes causes this imbalance. The high estrogen levels caused by pregnancy or hormone replacement therapy can also cause it. So can certain health problems, like diabetes or HIV infection.

You can prevent yeast infections by making sure that your genital area stays as dry as possible and can "breathe." For example:
Wear cotton, not nylon, underwear, and avoid tight-fitting pants and panty hose.
Change out of a wet swimsuit right away.
Avoid douches and feminine sprays, scented toilet paper, and deodorant tampons.
Soft, cottony toilet paper can contribute to a yeast infection as well.
After defecating, wiping improperly (from back to front is improper) can bring bacteria into the vaginal opening.
Try to air out the vaginal area at nighttime to avoid sweating, leaving a moist dark area for the yeast to grow.
Taking acidophilus (found at natural remedy stores such as GNC) can help its prevention.
Utilizing yogurt (yogurt acting as a suppository in the vaginal opening) can help balance the PH level and help avoid the yeast from growing.

I hope this helps, good luck!

Repeated yeast infections are sometimes a symptom of Diabetes. Is there Diabetes in the family? Do you have any other symptoms, like blurred vision, constant thirst, frequent urination? There is a very cheap medication OTC in the Dollar Store, called Myconazole, for yeast infections, and it's only about $5.00. It also works well for "itchy yeast" under large breasts, or under rolls of fat on heavy people. Works great!
