Question regarding NSU(Non-Specific Urethritis)?!
Question: I have been diagnosed with NSU and have been given antibiotics. The doctor said i shouldn't have sex for a week. But I forgot to ask whether or not this includes masturbating or not?
What is the reason for not having sex for a week, is it so I don't produce no sex hormones or not to infect anyone else or get infected by something else until NSU is cleared up?

'Not having sex' should not really include masturbation!
The idea is to prevent transmision to your partner, when it becomes like shuttle between the two of you. So infection keeps recurring.
