Any doctors? Could this possibly be a tumor near my ear?!

Question: About 2 months ago, my left ear started hurting. My mom brought me to the doctor but they said that there was no infection in my ear, so they sent me to an ENT. The ENT did a hearing test, which came back perfect, and the pressure in my ear was fine, so they put me on antibiotics and steroids for a week. Right after I was finished with the steroids, I started getting headaches about an inch above my ear. They were very short, and they lasted only about one minute each time, but I got about 2 of them a day at first. When I went back to the ENT 2 weeks after my first visit, they said they were stumped and just to wait. If everything was still the same in a month, they said that I would first get an MRI, and if that came back negitave, I would have to see a neurologist. Ever since then, those headaches follow with a warm feeling in and below my ear.

I am 14 years old and I weigh 98 pounds. I have had no medical history that would explain this.

An MRI/CATSCAN will definetley detect a tumor if it is there and prolonging that test is not wise in my opinion due to the severity of your symptoms. A lot of doctors are clueless and you have to be your own doctor, especially when they brush you off and you still have symptoms. There are many rare diseases and conditions that doctors barely know about. Please talk to your parents and keep them informed of your symptoms.

i dont know either just talk to your mom and doctor and wait for an awnswer dont worry it will be fine

You should also go to the dentist and see if you're suffering from Tempro Mandibular Joint Dysfunction.
It produces the exact symptoms you're describing.
My Dr. puts me on 600 mg of ibuprophen 3 times a day for 3 weeks, NO SKIPPING DOSES! to alleviate the inflammation that causes the headaches and collarbone pain.
Hope this helps.

Did they xray your jaw? It could be TMJ. Does your jaw click at all? Do you have any bad teeth in that area?

I would get the MRI done and a simple Xray might rule out TMJ. You say you get these several times a day. Is it after eating or chewing? See your dentist who can refer to a macrofacial specialist (I think that is what they are called.)

I'm sure it's nothing. But you do want to rule out everything and getting the MRI or CT scan done should do that, but consider these other options as well.
