Best way to clear up a rash as a result of a metal allergy?!

Question: So I need some help. I can not go to the Dr because I can not afford it. I have insurance but I have a $1200 family deductable.

Anyhow I am 95% sure I have developed a metal allergy. Runs in my family and I have a rash where my belt buckle touches my stomach and when I wore the belt, it got worse. So I have not worn the belt in about 3 weeks and the rash is not gone. I have been putting hydrocortizone cream on it, and it is still there. What else can I try?

I have the same problem with metal. Try putting baby powder on it over the cream to dry it out. If it's itching find an anti itch cream and then put baby powder on top. Try coating the belt with clear fingernail polish- it works for me with my earrings.
