How long does it usually take to recover from pneumonia?!
Question: I have pneumonia it started as a cold but now it's gotten worse..the doctor gave me a medicine but he didn't tell me how long will it take me to be completely fine :) Thanks for answering! ?

darn im sorry hun, i just had a pneumonia and had it for about 3 weeks and it sucks you get a bad migraine, you dont have appetite (my case), my doc gave me a great med i will find out the name for you its only about $40 and its worth it, the only problem is after your done with pneumonia the aftermath its horrible, you have a runny noise for a long time and you loss a some weight as well so eat up, i will send you the name of the med, i hope you feel better =)
Call the pharmacy where you picked up your meds. They can give you the answer on this one. Pneumonia sucks! Hope you feel better soon.

I think your life may be in danger, my cousin Renny had pneumonia and the doctor accidentally gave him the wrong medicine, and well anyway he has like 6 kids now, but I don't think that really answered the question, so I will just say 4 days, and Yes, I am not a doctor, and this is all one sentence.
I would say 3 weeks at the worst, depending on how your body reacts to the antibiotic.

Depends how severe is the case. In your case it may last for about 10 to 15 days. Full recovery will take about a month, as you will feel weak and may have cough for some time. Get well soon..
I can't tell you a real answer but my Dad had pneumonia twice before and he had to stay in Hospital both times for like a week...so yours isn't that bad...get well soon and keep warm!
