Question: My 4 year old is really sick. She's had strep for about 5 days but today I found this weird rash! She's been running a low fever for about a week, but today it went up to like, 102! And she just wants to sleep, and her throat hurts so bad she can hardly talk! Do you have any idea what this is? How do I treat it?

Sounds like scarlet fever - she needs to go to the doctor ASAP for antibiotics.
See a natural doctor asap if you don't know one look in the yellow pages. Someone needs to see the rash because there is a strep throat rash could be an infection on the skin or scarlet fever all associated with strep
Please take her to the hospital to be on the safe side. She needs to be checked out right away. Go now!!!!!!!!!!!
HOW DO YOU KNOW SHE HAS STREP?IF THIS DIAGNOSIS WAS MADE BY A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL,WHAT IS THE CURRENT TREATMENT?WHAT DID HE/SHE TELL YOU TO USE TO TREAT THE FEVER?YOU SHOULD TAKE HER BACK TO THE DOCTOR AND CLOSELY FOLLOW THE TREATMENT PRESCRIBED.
If she had strep throat and now has a rash its probably scarlet fever--which is caused by the same bacteria. Here is a link for parents:
