I just had stomach flu, could I still be contagious?!
Question: I woke up yesterday with the stomach flu and I'm not sure how long I'm contagious. Still kind of feeling icky, but finally was able to eat some mashed potatoes. My bf has it too, but no vomiting (lucky him). If I go to work tomorrow, I don't want to get my coworkers sick. How long am I contagious?

The incubation time is usually 24 to 36 hours. If I felt bad or especially if you have a fever, do not go to work. The US is having one of the worst epidemics in many years. It would be to everyone's benefit if you went to the doctor or at least called to see what they think. Get well soon.
yes you are viruses can live in you for 3 to 5 days if not on an antibiotic
sure -wash your hands well. drink lotsa fluids and limit solid foods till you're better.
Please stay at home. Some people have babies or old folks in their households and might make them sick as well.
