Question on jails ?? && stds?!
Question: in juvenile detention centers, they test for stds. does anyone know which ones they test for ???
not a group home but a jail . its a place where someone went for selling weed at age 15 . and some people came and talked about stds to them they tested people . i was wondering if anyone knew which ones they test for?
i heard that when you get tested they only test you for certain ones unless you ask for others

I am currently a nurse in a jail. Usually the STD's they test for are Gonarrhea and Clamydia since they are most common. They can also test for HIV, and hepatitis. Herpes are usually diagnosed when a person is found to have symptoms.
probably clamydia and gonnorhea
They probably give you a physical, and an STD could show up on that.
