Can you get genital herpes from oral sex with soeone who has oral herpes?!

Question: Alright guys, I have a question. I hear oral herpes are very common and most people have it without even realising it, but my question is, if you have a cold sore does that mean you have herpes? Or could you just have a cold sore? And if you have oral sex could the other person get genital herpes from your oral herpes?

If someone has an open sore (cold sore ... which is Herpes) and performs oral sex on someone else... YES the recipient of the hummer can get herpes on their unit.
A friend of mine got one on her boob from a guy who kissed her there while he had one on his lip.
They are very contagious. I have gotten these sores on my mouth from a very early age.. but have never kissed or performed oral sex while one was on my lip.
Danger... dont do it...

If you have oral herpes and give a guy oral sex then he will get herpes on his genitals.
JED

if you have a cold sore anywhere then that area is affected with herpes and you will continue to get cold sores in that spot occasionally throughout your life
if you have a cold sore while giving oral sex theres a chance you could infect the person with genital herpes

cold sores and oral herpes are the same thing, there is no difference. i think cold sores are a nicer name for oral herpes. they are contagious and they absolutly can be passed to the gentials via oral sex. it happened to me so its possible.
