There are many infections that can make you lymph nodes swell. Please do not google swollen lymph nodes, you will only find information about cancers. Infections such as the common cold, influenza, strep throat, mouth sores, mononucleosis, tonsillitis, gingivitis, impacted teeth, and STD's etc. Lymph nodes are located in the groin, neck, superior to the clavicle, and your armpits. So the best thing for you do to is go to the doctor to figure out the correct reason for your enlarged lymph nodes. You may need an antibiotic to treat this infection. Diseases such as HIV, arthritis, and lymphoma can also cause swollen lymph nodes. :) Hope this helps.

Any infection. Go to a doctor.

Herpes!! go get checked!!!

You lymph nodes are what filters the germs that are making their way to your vital organs. You have more than one set of nodes. If you are referring to the ones in your neck it could be associated with your sinuses, tonsils or infection of a tooth. It could be allergies. I wouldn't let swollen lymph nodes for very long. You body is trying to fight an infection of some kind.
