Exercise for people on oxygen?!

Question: my mom is on oxygen and has asthma (a result of smoking for years) and she always wonders how much exercise to do and what she should do.
i was wondering if anybody knows any light easy exercise you could do around the house.
my mom considers walking up and down the stairs a couple times a day, walking around the house, light cleaning, walking around the grocery store, etc.. excerise.

if you have any ideas that would be great.
and remember my mom can't really do normally exercise because of her health.

My advice was to walk. But not just regular everyday activities.

I used to be involved with the Resp Therapy Clinic at a local Phsyio Hosptal dealing with COPD patients.

We would put them on a treadmill and have them walk. Start low and slowly build up. It was amazing to see the progress these patients made. From being unable to walk from the parking lot to the clinic.... and now being able to walk 30-45 min on a treadmill with very little strain!
Many of these patients eventually got off their home O2.

On top of her everyday activities she needs to get out for a walk. Start with maybe a block... 5 min walk. Do that for about a week. Then add a min or 2 on. Continue to do so. Things will get better for sure!!
