I'm assuming that the doctor didn't find any kind of infection or defect within your ear. You should see an other doctor. This could be something as simple as a tooth infection or it could be more serious, like a bone infection. If your doctor hasn't located the source of the pain go to an other doctor. You have to really be your own advocate, get out there and get the answers you need. Immediate relief that may help would be to make a warm compress and hold it on your ear.

Sounds like swimmer's ear (otitis externa). If antibiotic drops aren't helping, you may have a fungal ear infection or a resistant type of bacteria. Most cases will get better without treatment, but are annoying and painful! Have you tried swimmer's ear drops? You can make your own by mixing vinegar and hydrogen peroxide (or rubbing alcohol instead of hydogen peroxide) half and half, and putting a few drops in your ears several times a day... especially after a shower. And try to keep water out of your ears in the shower... this washes out the protective ear wax and acidity that prevents infections. Good luck!

Try Sweet Oil, you can get it at the drugstore fairly cheap
