What are the effects of weed.........?!
Question: at lunch today, I overheard this kid tell his friend that he had weed in his pill bottle thing. I saw him open it and then a second or so later a horrible smell met my nostrils. I braethed it for like five or ten minutes but I was covering my nose the whole time. Don't tell me I should have told an adult or left to another place, what's done is done.
I just wanna know if I could have been affected by the in any way.

I think you would have known if you were high because you would have felt different than you do when you're straight especially if you have never done it!

Nope - needs to be heated to have any effect and inhaled very closely. Probably isn't what he claimed especially if it smells that bad.
As long as he wasnt smoking it, you didnt get 2nd hand smoke, and if you didnt comsume any your fine. It probably just smells bad. I know a couple ppl that smoke the stuff, and I can say it has made them alot dumber. But theyve smoked alot of the stuff.
You don't have anything to worry about, if it was weed. You would have had to physically inhale smoke caused by the weed to have any sort of effects from it.
All you smelled was how weed smells before it's smoked.
I don't see a bunch of kids lightin up a J at the lunch table, though... so I'm pretty sure you're fine.
