I think i may have a heart condition........what do you think?!

Question: ok for 6 years i have had chest pain (moderate), mild wheezing and lower left abdominal pain brought on by running or walking too much.

for the last month i have had "episodes" where i get a tearing sharp stabbing pain localized in the heart, i wheeze heavily, i feel i can't breathe, shortness of breath, i'm dizzy, can't sit up right, my left arm goes numb and i get pain up the left side of my neck...

also the same day these "episodes" started i've fainted 1+ times a day.

every day since it started, i've had 1 or more fainting spells and 1 or more chest "episodes"

what do you think?

you should go to a cardiologist ASAP.
sorry to hear that you have that honey

I would ask a doctor about that, have you been checked for asthma. my mom and my brother have it and soem of those symptoms sound like asthma- wheezing , shortness of breath , chest pain.

but you should definately ask a doctor if you think it's your heart.

These are exactly my symptoms! I have Asthma. Left untreated, you may create permanent lung damage. You need to go to your doctor as soon as possible. Sometimes your doctor will prescribe a pulmonary function test, which is a lung test to determine if you have Asthma. If I miss my medication, I slowly get these symptoms that you have described back. Anything can bring back your symptoms of Asthma. A cold, environmental pollution, the cold weather, etc. Make an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible, before it's too late!!

Umm I can't believe you have not gone to the doctor. What will it take to get you there? People on here are not professionals. You are playing games with your health

Anytime someone faints its a warning signal by the body that something is wrong....our body sends us signals to get a "checkup" just like our car sends us signals that it needs a tuneup. I know that you can get "runner's asthma" after exercising hard. The left abdominal pain could be a strained or pulled muscle from the strenous exercise. Sometimes acid reflux from strenous exercise can cause the pain in the heart or you could have a nerve being impinged in your neck that causes the numbness in your left arm. The fainting kind of puts the icing on the cake so to speak and your body is telling you "help get me checked." You are lucky, some people never get these signals and they are not as fortunate. So, get yourself checked and this way you won't be guessing anymore you'll get the facts.
