My grandfather got sunburn. It left these little pimples on his skin which itch !

Question: It really seems to aggravate him, the skin burns and its really hot where he lives. Does anyone know what this is and what I can do to help him out?

yes this is called SUN POISON. It can be very dangerous. I used to be a lifeguard and I have had it before. Tell him to try aloe vera, there are a lot of brands out there that sell it like Banana Boat or Panama Jack. Try finding one with ALOE, Vitamin E, and/or cocoa butter. The rash should heal within a few days to a week, make sure he stays out of the sun, and if it does not get better, seek medical attention. GOOD LUCK, tell him to hang in there!

dont worry i get those all the time i have very pail skin and its just blisters they'll eventually go away

his skin is trying to heal. the dead or burned skin will get replaced with new. to help stop the itching and aggrivasion he should try aloe, or some kind of sunburn relief spry like "solarcaine" and stay well hydrated, water is best!!!

tell him to stay in the air conditioning and put aloe vera oil on it.
it will sting at first but it will make it feel better.
you can find it at any drug store.
if you cant find it try some of that spray that takes car of sunburns.

very bad sunburn. i had that once. Called ask-a-nurse line. get some benadryl and milk of magnesia mix them 50/50 and apply topically.
