How long is someone hospitalized after a stroke?!

Question: The opinions that the others have offered are very good. However, you need to take into consideration the fact that your grandmother is 90 years old and not as strong as a 60 year-old person. Therefore, that reduces her chances of recovery from the stroke. From what you describe she will need lots of physical therapy.

The best thing that you, and the rest of the family, can do is give her lots of love and prayers. I wish her a speedy recovery.

It depends really, some can leave the hospital after about a week

Well, my father had a stroke 3 years ago, and if I remember correctly he was in for about 4-5 days for tests and stuff!

Hope everything goes well!!!

it depends on how severe the stroke she had.......

Like the others said, it depends on the severity of the stroke. Some people suffer minor effects which may cause a hospital stay of less than a week but if it is really traumatic, i.e. Luther Vandross, where they cannot do anything, than the stay will be much longer

it depend to her condition. but approximately 1 week after if no other complications.
