Anyone ever had that "Super Bug" staph infection(MRSA)???!
Question: Two of my co-workers have/had the Staph infection.One got it in August and has had 3 surgeries to try and remove it.He is still out of work.A lady just returned to work after being out 2 weeks and 1 surgery to remove her staph infection.I am freaking out because now I have 2 small red pimple looking things.One on my thigh and one on my belly.My husband is freaking out because we have a 8 month old baby.I don't want them to get sick so I am not touching them thil I get checked out.If it is MRSA do you think My dogs can get it also?

well I have not had but I am a nurse.See a Doc now... Also to prevent the spread of the germs check out hand sanitizers that do kill MRSA..And the protection lasts for hours...Go to

I dont think dogs get Mrsa?
Not sure.
Get the doc to check it out. Where I work at the hospital lots of employees have it. I dont. Be sure and just keep everything clean as you can.
dont wait till you have to have surgery to get rid of it, if it is that small now,it is treatable...
it might not even be mrsa...
could be hundreds of other things.
will pray for you
hurry and get that checked out if nothing else than for the peace of mind.
