Question: I've got this allergy disorder and I've got a real bad dose of it now. Do you have any home remadies that I could use, I've taken anti histameen. Plus can you tell me more about it it. I really want to know more.

I know it is about my body producing too much histameen and so I get blocked sinasus.

It sounds like you have rhinitis, and yes your body is producing histamine because of it. Your sinuses are blocked because of the rhinitis too. There are loads of antihistamines available and often it's a case of trial and error as to which one works. Allergic rhinitis is just like having hayfever all year round. Try a nasal spray such as Beconase.

A nasal spray and some anti inflammatory pills like ibuprofen or aspirin will help, you sinusis feel blocked because they are swollen, due to the allergy, do you know what you are allergic to? as there is treatment for most allergies.

If you want to go the complimentary therapy route, Kineseology is very good for allergies, do some research on the net, to find one near you.

Rhinitis is inflammation of the nasal passages (and sinuses) and can be caused by allergy (commonly hayfever etc.) Your body is producing histamine from immune cells called lymphocytes. It is a normal response, but exaggerated. The tissue inside the nose becomes engorged with fluid causing the passages to swell, and the histamine causes the itch. Anti-histamines counteract this.

No ideas for home remedies though...sorry

A non-specific rhinitis is best treated by anti-histamines, and under the guidance of a Doctor.

If it becomes a long term issue, your Doctor might want to arrange an allergy test to find out the cause.

There are no easy or simple remedies that will work for sure.

Do, however, keep talking to your Doctor, and ask him/her for more information, or to explain anything you don't understand.

Don't worry about the spelling; we know what you mean.

To me, the best antihistamine you can get over the counter is loratidine (Claritin is one brand). It doesn't make me drowsy, and it lasts all day.

Avoiding what is setting it off is the best thing but is often (usually?) not possible.

Rhinitis can be allergic, viral or bacterial. Usually the inhaled steroids like Flonase are quite effective but you need a prescription. A neti pot is very effective, is natural, and has been used by yogis to keep the sinus passages free for centuries.
