Scars-healing-fading?!

Question: I have alot of scars on my legs from shaving scars and scratching mosquito bites last summer. Also, I was in a fire in January and my upper chest and arms were spotted with grease burns. They are all starting to fade, but I am supposed to be a bridesmaid in a wedding this Spring. The dresses show some leg and are strappy so basically all my ugly scars will show.

I have been using Mederma (but only on the tiny grease burns, cause it is too pricy to use on my entire legs) my chst and arms and while it is making them fade it is so expensive for such a small amount and seems to take forever to fade them.

Any suggestions to speed the healing process? Any other meds that worked for you? Any home remedies? I apreciate any help.
-Thanks

Try using a self tanning lotion. Or one that has a glow to it. Scars simply take time to heal. A light tan will help to disguise them though.
