i reccomend going to the doctor. if you dont get help soon you might get something worse than the flu. VISIT A DOCTOR!

or do this:

#1 Know When Not To Treat Symptoms
Believe it or not, those annoying symptoms you're experiencing are part of the natural healing process -- evidence that the immune system is battling illness. For instance, a fever is your body's way of trying to kill viruses in a hotter-than-normal environment. Also, a fever's hot environment makes germ-killing proteins in your blood circulate more quickly and effectively. Thus, if you endure a moderate fever for a day or two, you may actually get well faster. Coughing is another productive symptom; it clears your breathing passages of thick mucus that can carry germs to your lungs and the rest of your body. Even that stuffy nose is best treated mildly or not at all. A decongestant, like Sudafed, restricts flow to the blood vessels in your nose and throat. But often you want the increase blood flow because it warms the infected area and helps secretions carry germs out of your body.

#2 Blow Your Nose Often (And the Right Way)
It's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: Press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other.

#3 Treat That Stuffy Nose With Warm Salt Water
Salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. Here's a popular recipe:

Mix 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in 8 ounces of warm water. Use a bulb syringe to squirt water into the nose. Hold one nostril closed by applying light finger pressure while squirting the salt mixture into the other nostril. Let it drain. Repeat 2-3 times, then treat the other nostril.

#4 Stay Warm and Rested
Staying warm and resting when you first come down with a cold or the flu helps your body direct its energy toward the immune battle. This battle taxes the body. So give it a little help by lying down under a blanket.

#5 Gargle
Gargling can moisten a sore throat and bring temporary relief. Try a teaspoon of salt dissolved in warm water, four times daily. To reduce the tickle in your throat, try an astringent gargle -- such as tea that contains tannin -- to tighten the membranes. Or use a thick, viscous gargle made with honey, popular in folk medicine. Seep one tablespoon of raspberry leaves or lemon juice in two cups of hot water; mix with one teaspoon of honey. Let the mixture cool to room temperature before gargling.

see a doctor soon

Check out WEB MD and use their virtual diagnosis. You choose the symptoms, they list the possible ailments. They will also help with treatment ideas.

If it IS the flu, you need to see a doctor. This isn't something that will get better by itself (not likely, anyways). The flu can be fatal if it's not treated properly.

go to the doctor, this sounds serious enough. just go, it won't hurt anything to just make sure it's not something worse.

Zicam at the first sign of a cold will help shorten it's life span and keep the symptoms from being so bad

It is the flu season but it may not be the flu. From what u described it doesn't sound like the exact match for the flu but rather could be a stomach virus or a type of flu...

SEE YOUR DOCTOR,ASAP

ok, if you havea fever around 100-101 then just rest A LOT!!!! if it is higher than that, you need to take ib profen or a fever reducer (advil, etc) Make sure you stay warm and drink TONS of juice. You need vitamin C and then hot beverages. Don't take any symptom reducers because those symptoms are your body's way of getting out the virus. You need to be strong, feel better honey.

it does pretty much sound like the flu, but im not a doctor so i couldnt say for sure.
usually with the stomach flu, you kind of have to just let it run its course. you can take stuff though like imodium for your diarreah, and tylenol for your headaches and all over aches.
i would say just lay low for a couple days and try to eat things that are light on your stomach like soup and saltine crackers, and just try and get a lot of fluid.
if things get really bad,you have a really high fever,or it doesnt go away or at least start to get better in a few days, you really should see a doctor.

i hope you feel better soon! :)

sounds like the flu!
Rest, try to take sips of flat coke. that will help with the nasea. Tylonol will help with the fever, chills and pain. Try saltine crackers, ice pops, gingerale. Keep hydrated, vomiting and diareah will dehydrate you fast. I hope you get better soon.

I know you probably think that you should take cold medicine but DONT any RX Drug is worse than Meth to put in your body, it sound like nonsence but its true! i would say you either go to the docter ( i dont suggest too do so) or just let your body deal with it, within a week you body will build millions of antibodys and it will fight the virus, you should actually be healthier than before because you didnt put any chemical crap in your system, sure it will make you FEEL better bt the only think that its doing is making your illness WORSE!!!!!!!!! so i wouldnt do anything, but it you want i would maybe take a couple asprin to help, i really feel bad for you, ive had the flu and it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! so i really hope you feel better and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It certainly sounds like the flu to me. There has been a super strain of flu that is running rampant in all states in the USA except for Florida. The only thing you can do is take aspirin or Tylenol, keep warm, keep hydrated (even if you vomit) and try to stay inside and let it run it's course. If your fever gets too high..............about 103 degrees or more, go to the ER. Your eyes can hurt as your head hurts, but sinus problems can also cause that part. The flu vaccine they gave for this year doesn't prevent this newer type of flu. You might try OTC Tylenol for flu or something similar sold at the drugstores. It won't prevent it or make it go away but it may lessen your symptoms. Get well and stay indoors. Wash your hands frequently so as not to spread this nasty flu. Feel better.
