OMG! I have been having almost panic attacks for over one week since my kid showed me this photo!! It is SOOO digusting!!! I even had my kid check this picture link for me so I won't have to see because I cannot stand to even imagine it....ewww ewww ewwww....
My son sort of helped me not freak out by it by telling me to imagine it as diamond crystals....but it still makes me want to puke.
I have Never had such a reaction to anything like this before!!!!

It looks like a major fungus infection. The only thing I've seen comparable to that are pictures of feet of women who purchased cheap flip flops at Walmart, which were manufactured in China. Apparently, there was some kind of poisonous material in the sandals that produced some horrible sores that were eating into the flesh, just like the picture you showed. Buyers beware of anything that says, "Made in China". They have recalled toys that were made there because of potential lead poisoning.
That photo is totally fake, probably photoshop. If it were real there would be redness around the site and fluid coming from the wound. There is no way the inside would be dry like that. That picture has been circulating online for awhile now, with various claims about it. Its an internet "urban legend."
